Packing Up My Kit

Another cooking class party tonight, this time at Chef Exchange, the online platform that I'm part of that matches foodie clients with chefs in their cities. I've got six ladies coming together to celebrate a birthday in the kitchen together and I'm about to head out the door (things get started quite late here in Lebanon). Packing up my kit and making certain I have every ingredient I will need is a crucial part of any gig (cheffing takes an incongruous personality mix of creativity and anal retentiveness, I often joke). Tonight I'm particularly excited because I'm getting to use the gorgeous new leather knife bag my father gave me for Christmas. Isn't it a dream? Here's what we'll be cooking tonight:
